When I went down to the breakfast room there was hardly any real choice. To be honest, whilst the breakfast was included in the room price it was awful. The safe in the wardrobe didn't work but when we mentioned this at the reception we were told that none of the safes worked in any of the rooms. There were enough white fluffy towels which was good. There were two, comfortable queen sized beds, a two seater sofa and coffee table, a fridge, microwave, desk, and a functional bathroom with shower in the bath tub. The room was a little on the drab and dark side but my son & I agreed that we only planned to sleep here and that would be it. The nice ladies at the reception desk were happy to tell us that our room, number 306 was ready for us. Anyway, despite arriving ahead of time, at 14:30 to be precise, we were pleased that this wasn't a problem. Our first impressions weren't favourable as we parked in the free car park. As it was, this place was located out of town in not a particularly attractive area. We had booked this place online a few days earlier not realizing really the location relative to New York City.
