

The township will pay 50% of the wages and the school district will pay 50%. The trustees approved the purchase of a 2,100-gallon Freightliner Tanker Truck and related equipment from Atlantic Emergency Solutions at a total cost of $439,595 to be paid for from the grant.Īpproved a school resource agreement with Jackson Local Schools whereby the trustees will provide six school resource officers (SROs), with one officer for each school building in the district. The trustees also accepted a FEMA grant for the department in the amount of $425,851 with a 10% match ($42,585) from the township.

Berczik said, “We are currently using a 2009 fire investigation truck and so we had a new truck on order, we are expecting delivery of the new truck in mid-December of this year.”
