I have no real experience with Holter but I'm pretty sure his Bodyguard is better than him in most regards. Alces is a healer and has good stats but nothing amazing, get him if you want a good Nature mon.
Darmith is a decent fire attacker that can do a bit of support if you want. General Nishant isn't great, I only got him because I wanted another Winged book legendary for wars. Shannara is a decent general and only costs 1.8k, so I think she's worth it if you're in want of a Magic mon. Ingvar is alright but probably not worth the 2.5k he costs, at least until you've gotten all the other team shop monsters you want. Thetys is the best general but pretty pricey at 2.5k.
